# Wort Dilution Calculator

The Wort Dilution Calculator allows you to determine:

* desired volume and resulting gravity
* a desired gravity after a calculated water addition

**Diluting to a Target Gravity**

1. Enter the current volume and gravity of the wort.
2. Enter the desired target gravity of the wort.
3. The calculator will determine the required water addition to achieve the desired gravity.

**Diluting to a Target Volume**

1. Enter the current volume and gravity of the wort.
2. Enter the desired target volume of the wort.
3. The calculator will determine the original gravity after the dilution.
