KL44493 Cannular Can and Bottle Filler - KL38171 Instant Read Water Resistant Probe Installation Guide

A great addition to your Cannular Can and Bottle Filler to read real time temperatures as you fill!

Temperature is crucial when filling your cans or bottles. Instantly know the real time temperature as you fill your bottles or cans.

Make adjustments if your liquid is getting too warm and causing foaming issues.

1

Remove adjustable stainless stand

Remove the two wing bolts and two bolts from the side of the Cannular Can & Bottle Filler.

Remove the adjustable stainless stand

2

Open Housing

There are 6 Philips head screws holding the Cannular Can & Bottle FIller hosuing together. Remove these to open the housing

3

Remove liquid tubing from pinch valve

To allow access to the boards, the liquid line must be removed from the pinch valve. Manually push the pinch valve to open it, then remove the liquid line

4

Install Probe through housing

There is a small hole with grommet and cap designed to accept the temperature probe - see image below.

First, remove the small cap from this, leaving the grommet in place. There is a spare grommet and cap included with KL38171 Instant Read Water Resistant Probe in case these get lost.

Then, carefully push the probe through the grommet from inside the housing. The plug is too large to fit through the housing, so it cannot be easily inserted the other way round.

5

Connect the lead to the board

There is only one suitable plug connection on the board. Ensure the lead is inserted snugly. See below for positioning

6

Reassemble the housing

Once the Temperature Probe lead is secured in the grommet in the housing, and the plug has been secured in the correct socket on the board, close the housing by performing the above steps (1 -3) in reverse order

7

Position and secure the Temperature Probe

Position the Temperature probe between the Liquid and the Purge lines as in this diagram:

Carefully secure the temperature probe in place with the small rubber band (included)

8

Check for OTA Firmware Update

Navigate to Settings and perform an OTA firmware update to ensure that you are running the latest firmware to allow you to take advantage of your new temperature probe
