Antenna Upgrade

RAPT Can & Bottle Filler | KL44493 WiFi Antenna Upgrade

NOTE: Cannular Can & Bottle FIllers purchased after 31/01/2025 do not need this upgrade. Antenna comes as standard on units purchased after this date

KL44493 Cannular Can and Bottle Filler - WiFi Antenna Upgrade Installation

RAPT Can & Bottle Filler can be fitted with an external WiFI antenna. RAPT Can & Bottle Fillers sold after 31/01/2025 come with the upgraded antenna as stardard.

RAPT Can & Bottle Filler purchased before 31/01/2025 can be easily retrofitted with the KL44493 folowing the instructions below.

Remove adjustable stainless stand

Remove the two wing bolts and two bolts from the side of the Cannular Can & Bottle Filler.

Open Housing

There are 6 Philips head screws holding the Cannular Can & Bottle FIller hosuing together. Remove these to open the housing

Remove liquid tubing from pinch valve

To allow access to the boards, the liquid line must be removed from the pinch valve. Manually push the pinch valve to open it, then remove the liquid line

Connect antenna lead to board

The board is located in the top left corner of the Cannular Can & Bottle FIller. The External Antenna will plug into the board directly.

Attach antenna to housing

Carefully connect the antenna plug onto the correct slot on the board as indicated below. This will click diectly in place - solder etc is not required

Remove the backing tape from the antenna and attach to the housing

Carefully peel the backing tape from the antenna to expose the adhesive strip. This will allow the antenna to be neatly fastened to the housing (below)

Reassemble housing

Reassemble the housing in the reverse order as above.
