# Devices

The Devices tab shows all available, registered RAPT devices. 

This tab allows you to Pin or Unpin your RAPT devices to the [Dashboard](/dashboard.md)

You can also start or stop Profile Sessions, view the detailed graph or view current telemetry in this tab

RAPT devices can also be registered to the RAPT Portal in this tab, using the <img src="/files/xtgVBmEgTKDxMGw28LeA" alt="" data-size="line"> button in the top left

RAPT devices must be registered to the RAPT Portal in order to view telemetry, start or stop Profiles and edit devices and settings. RAPT devices must first be connected to your WiFi network then registered to the RAPT Portal.

Before trying to Register your RAPT device, ensure that it is connected to your WiFi network and that the firmware is up to date.

<mark style="color:red;">**IMPORTANT: You will not be able to register a RAPT device to the RAPT Portal unless the firmware is up to date.**</mark>

Once the RAPT Device is connected to WiFI and the firmware is current, please select the <img src="/files/xtgVBmEgTKDxMGw28LeA" alt="" data-size="line"> button in the top left of the Dashboard or Devices screen of the RAPT Portal.
