RAPT Can & Bottle Filler | Calibration Guide

Please note the calibration process has changed since a firmware update on the 30/04/2025.

Firmware release date can be identified by the first 8 digits of the firmware:

Version: 20250430_155724_ed6e01f was released on 30/04/2025, for example

Ensure you are running firmware from this date or newer before calibrating for the first time.

1

Prepare the Machine

Mark the Purge Tube: Locate the stainless steel purge dip tube (on the right side of the unit). Measure 100mm up from the bottom of the tube and mark this clearly with a wipeable marker.

Connect Gas: Attach your gas line to the red carbonation cap. This is required to clear the line during the calibration process.

2

Enter Calibration Mode

To enter the calibration mode: Select then navigate through the menu to Calibrate then press Enter.

3

Set the 1st Calibration Point (Ambient/Empty)

Clear the Line: Remove the purge tube from container or liquid. Press Select .

Capture Reading: Press Select . The unit will purge the line and display Purging > Waiting for Pressure to Stabilize. This sets the baseline "zero" value for ambient pressure.

4

Set the 2nd Calibration Point (Reference Height)

Prepare Reference Water: Place a container (a glass is ideal) under the fill & purge tubes. Fill it with water until the water level exactly hits the 100mm mark you made in Step 1.

Check Value: Ensure the measurement value on the screen matches the height of your water (e.g., 100mm). If you used a different height, update the value on the screen now.

Capture Reading: Wait for the pressure sensor value to stabilise (fluctuating by only a few points). Select . The unit now knows the pressure-to-depth ratio.

5

Run a Test Fill With Water

Set Your Target: Place your actual can or bottle in the filling position. Decide where you want the liquid to stop and mark that spot on the purge tube.

Measure & Program: Measure from the bottom of the tube up to this new mark. Enter this value (in mm) into your Fill Preset.

Test: Connect your water source to the yellow carbonation cap (max 15psi). Select your preset, place your container, and press Run.
